Christa Kirk

Attorney Christa Kirk is the founder of the Kirk Law Firm, P.C., specializing in personal injury, criminal defense, and family law throughout the Atlanta region. Christa is passionate about helping people, bringing her experience and drive to helping people at the most vulnerable times in their lives. For Christa, being an attorney is about giving back. She says, “I enjoy helping people in the most difficult times of their lives. I hope to offer them hope and take the burden off of them. I love children and hope to help parents understand how the way they handle divorce or other challenges affects their children.” 

Christa has a vast amount of experience as a litigator. After graduating from law school at Georgia State University College of Law, she joined the Gwinnett County District Attorney's Office, working as an Assistant County Attorney Supervisor and prosecuting cases on behalf of Gwinnett County for nearly a decade before moving on to private practice. Her experience as a prosecutor makes her an especially skilled criminal defense attorney and a whiz in the courtroom. She now focuses on litigation, one of her strengths, putting her courtroom skills to work for personal injury, criminal defense, and family law clients in Georgia. 

While litigation is her forte, Christa also knows when it's time to negotiate and is adept at advising clients on their best course of action. She says, “the courtroom is very comfortable to me. If you need a litigator, that is who I am, but I also understand when it's best to resolve a case.”

Out of the office, Christa enjoys spending time with her family and her dogs. She loves the water, and you can often find her spending her free time in the water, by the beach, or by the lake. Christa also strives to give back to our community through volunteer work. She's a member of the Georgia Association of Women Lawyers and a member of the Founding Board. Christa serves as a North Gwinnett High School Mock Trial Coach. She is also a board member and the Secretary of Nana Grants, a nonprofit dedicated to ensuring quality, reliable childcare for low-income mothers pursuing postsecondary education.
